Corallites are separated (monocentrics) and/or associated (pluricentrics)?
For monocentric corallites, there is only one mouth (polyp) limited by a wall which is shared or not by different adjacent corallites. Be carefull to development of polyps inside the colony: intratentacular* budding species will not be considered as a pluricentric state.
For pluricentric corallites, there can be severals mouths (2 or 3, or more), for this case, we will talk of corallites series.
Intratentacular*: budding of daughter polyps inside the wall of father polyps.
