Type Species. Dianmachaerota serratiphalla sp. nov. Male. Body (Figs. 2A and 3A) slender. Head (Fig.3A, B, and D) vertically produced into a distinct acuminate process, height of head process above level of transverse frontal
suture approximately threefourths depth of an eye in profile; interocellar distance (Fig. 3A) much greater than ocello-ocular distance. Pronotum (Fig. 3A, B, and D) convex, its anterior margin shorter than posterior margin; anterolateral
margin much longer than posterolateral margin; lateral angle produced into angulate lamina; posterolateral angle acute. Scutellar process (Fig. 3A and B) much longer than scutellum proper, originating from upper end of
postero-inferior margin. Forewing (Fig.3B and C) nearly 4x as long as broad; veins M and Cu basally independent of each other, joined by a short crossvein m-cu which forms basal margin of discoidal cell; claval vein apically
unbranched; discoidal cell 4.5x as long as wide, its length distinctly greater than greatest width of forewing. Cu (longitudinal vein 5) of hindwing (Fig. 3E) unbranched. Hind leg (Fig. 3F) slender, long; tibia lacking lateral spine. Male genitalia (Fig. 4A and B) with apical lobe of pygofer divided into two parts, upper part broadly rounded, lower part angulate, slightly elongated; apical portion of aedeagus swollen.
