Distribution: known from some central Mollucan Islands (Indonesia): Ambon, Banda, Buru, Obi and Seram.

• tail coloration : absence of blue pigmentation
• throat pattern and coloration : light and patternless ; light with few spots
• tongue coloration : entirely light, pinkish ; light with an ill-defined dark pigmentation in the anterior most part

• transversal section of the first third of tail : not roundish
• tail dorsally with a double keel : presence
• enlarged eyes : absence
• midbody scale counts : 131 to 150
