Distribution: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Mali, Nigeria, Niger, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Togo.
Habitat: brush-grass savannah, Guinean savannah, moist woodlands.
Sympatric species: G. genetta, G. maculata, G. pardina .
